    What Are Symptoms or Signs to Indicate Diminished Renal Function  Diminished kidney function indicates that your kidney fails to function properly and induce many health problems.     It is well known that our kidneys are important organs to produce urine and discharge waste products as well as toxins.     Symptoms can vary from person to person. Someone in early stage kidney disease may not feel sick or notice symptoms as they occur. If the disease progresses, symptoms become noticeable. Symptoms or signs of diminished renal function include the following:

    1. High levels of urea in the blood, which can result in:

    Vomiting and /or diarrhea, which can lead to dehydration

    Nausea

    Weight loss

    Blood in the urine

    Urine changes, like more frequent urine, oliguria, etc.

    2. Accumulation of potassium in the blood can cuase:

    Fatigue or weak

    Memory problems

    Dizziness

    Low blood pressure

    6. If the diminished renal function are due to Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), it can cause:

    Pain in the stomach, back and/or side.
