    CKD Stage1~2

    Is Stage 2 CKD Bad for A 20 Years Old FemaleOne population group that has seen an increase in occurrences of Kidney Failure is women who are older (50+years old). well then, is Stage 2 CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) bad for a 20 years old female?

    Actually, chronic kidney disease is divided into five stages according to GFR (glomerular filtration rate). And the more less GFR, the more severe kidney damage. As for Stage 2 CKD patients, they have a kidney damage with a mild decrease in GFR of 60-89ml/min. Usually, there are no symptoms to indicate the kidney are damaged due to kidneys’ strong compensatory ability. Even so, patients can find the disease when they do physical test especially when the have diabetes or high blood pressure-the two leading causes of kidney disease.

    Well then, is Stage 2 CKD bad for 20 years old female?

    If Stage 2 CKD cannot get controlled, it also will progresses into Stage 3 CKD or even more advanced stage. In that conditions, CKD will have a bad effect on women.
