    How Bad Is Stage 3 Kidney DiseaseKidney disease is a progressive disease, and our kidney has strong metabolic ability, which lead to that half normal kidney function will be able to guarantee our body health.     What is stage 3 kidney disease?

    Kidney disease is divided into 5 stage according to patient’s glomerular filtration rate (GFR), and stage 3 is an important stage among them. As we have said, patient’s kidney disease begins to cause obvious symptom at this stage.

    The normal GFR is about 125ml/min in healthy people, while for patients within stage 3 of kidney disease, their GFR is 30~59ml/min. And for patients with stage 3, their damaged kidney function has reached half, and that is able to cause patient’s notice.

    How bad is stage 3 kidney disease?

    Many patients have blamed why they have not find their kidney disease earlier, because chronic kidney disease can not be cured so far, and what we can do is to control patient’s condition.

    As we can imagine, patient’s condition will be much easier to control if patient’s kidney disease can be found earlier. In fact, for patients with stage 3 kidney disease, they may begin to have obvious symptoms, but it is not hard to control their condition, because they overall kidney is thought to be damaged moderately, and their kidney function can be improved with right treatment and appropriate nursing care.

    In fact, stage 3 is divided into stage 3 A and stage 3 B. Stage 3 A means patient’s GFR is 45~59ml/min, and stage 3 B means patient’s GFR is about 30~44ml/min. If patients are in the stage 3 B, their condition will also be much harder to control than stage 3 A. Thereby, stage 3 kidney disease is not too hard to control, but that already begin to damage patient’s overall condition.
