Should I Be Cautious to Creatinine 1.3

Should I Be Cautious to Creatinine 1.3Should I be cautious to creatinine 1.3? Recently, some patients search related info on the Internet and ask our Online Doctors. What’s the answer? Now, let’s have a look at the introduction below.

Actually, high creatinine level is always associated with severe kidney damage. So once patients find that their creatinine level in blood is little higher than the normal range, they will be anxious and worried whether I has got kidney disease or not. Then, what can you know from creatinine level 1.3?

Creatinine is a common index to measure kidney function. And it is the end-product of muscular activity. In normal condition, healthy kidneys are responsible for discharging extra wastes and toxins including creatinine from the body. And the healthy kidneys is in charge for keeping creatinine level within the normal range which is 0.5-1.1mg/dl for female and 0.6-1.2mg/dl for male. Compared to normal range, we can see that creatinine 1.3 is a little higher.

Actually, there are many factors can lead to high creatinine level, such as strenuous exercise, too much meat intake, dehydration. It can be temporary and after rest or reducing meat intake, creatinine level1.3 will come back to normal.

However, if creatinine 1.3 is caused by the kidney damage, you should be cautious and pay more attention to your physical health. Patients are not suggested to ignore this problem. If left untreated, it will increase to a higher level. In Western medicine, when the value grows to 5, dialysis will be commonly used to discharge the wastes. To be fair, not everyone is willing to undergo dialysis.

Through the above analysis, we can see: if you find that your creatinine level is higher than the normal range, you should further do the test so as to find the underlying causes. Any questions, please talk with our online doctors or leave a message below.
